Kiulu
Kiulu is situated in the Tamparuli district and is 47.7 kilometres away from the State capital of Sabah, Kota Kinabalu. The word ‘Kiulu’ was actually derived from a plant that is called ‘Tulu’, which is a small bamboo plant that grows on the river bank.
Papar
Papar is an agriculture town that is famous for it’s agriculture products. Visitors may pay a visit to Papar’s weekly Open market or also known locally as ‘Tamu’ that happens on every Sunday morning. Visitors may also use the Sabah State Railway train to travel from the Tanjung Aru station that is located in Kota Kinabalu to Papar town.
Itinerary
Day 1
0900 am: Arrival of guests, trek or transfer up to site, safety briefing by instructor
0930 am: Introduction to hammock set. Site cleaning, basher building and set up hammock.
1230 pm: Lunch
1400 pm: Games, bonding time
1600 pm: Set up campfire area
1830 pm: Dinner
2000 pm: Reviews and reflections by the campfire
2100 pm: Sleep
Day 2
0700 am: Prepare own breakfast
0800 am: Craftmaking – make your own bracelet and necklace
1000 am: Free time
1230 pm: Lunch
1400 pm: Pack, hammock down, clean up
1500 pm: Departure

Arrival by flights
You can fly to Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI) direct from Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Labuan, Sandakan or Tawau.
Arrival by land
You can travel to Kota Kinabalu by Taxi from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (approx. 14 minutes) and by Bus from Sandakan (approx. 6 hours), from Tawau (approx. 8 hours).
