Location
Sandakan is the second largest city located on the east coast of Sabah. Sandakan is well known as the gateway for ecotourism destinations where fauna, flora and cultural heritage are the main attractions.
Kundasang is a town in the district of Ranau in Sabah, Malaysia that lies along the bank of Kundasang Valley. It is located about six kilometres away from Kinabalu National Park and 12 kilometres from Ranau town.

Bilit Adventure Lodge is located at Kampung Bilit, Kinabatangan River. It is about 2.5 hours drive from Sandakan Town and about two hours drive from Sepilok Jungle Resort. or about 30 minutes drive from Gomantong Cave.

In the jungle, you will be able to see some wildlife around the lodge. Feel free to take photos. However, you are not encouraged to feed the birds, squirrel, monkeys and even orang utan if you happen to see them.
There are a lot of things to do in Kundasang. You can visit the vegetable market where bulk buyers would come for the fresh harvest. Passing tourists and travellers also stop by the road for shopping at a good bargain with the stalls are open seven days a wee

To Sandakan
Arrival by flight
You can fly to Sandakan Airport (SDK) direct from Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu or Tawau.
Arrival by land
You can travel to Sandakan by express bus from Kota Kinabalu (approx. 6 hours), Lahad Datu (approx. 4 hours), Tawau (approx. 5 hours) and Semporna (approx. 5 hours).
