On 31st August 1957, the Federation of Malaya States gained its independence from the British. Hence, this day is known as ‘Hari Merdeka’ or Independence Day. Sabah will showcase a colourful parade held in downtown Kota Kinabalu City to celebrate our National Day. Selamat Hari Merdeka!
