Explore Borneo’s Mangrove area via Stand Up Paddling!
A full course learning will be provided by our guide which includes techniques on how to paddle, safety briefing and information about SUP route. At the end point, paddlers will enjoy a moment to witness Sabah’s beautiful sunset before heading back to meet point by speed boat. You might also get the chance of witnessing living creatures in the mangrove area.

Location
Tuaran is situated in the West Coast of Sabah and is just 32 kilometres away from the State capital, Kota Kinabalu. Tuaran is well-known for it’s fried ‘Tuaran noodles’ and visitors including Sabahans would travel all the way to Tuaran just to have a taste of it. The population of Tuaran consists a majority of the Dusun ethnic, the Lotud ethnic and the Bajau ethnic.
Itinerary
15:00 : Hotel pick up and depart to our base camp in Tuaran
15:45 : Arrive to the base camp, local snack and drinks upon arrival (toilet and changing room available)
16:30 : Start briefing by our river guide
17:00 : Start to paddle for 4 km to 5 km
There are several point along the way such as the tunnel, proboscis avenue, etc
18:30 : Estimated arrival time to the ending point which is on the sand bar, photography session, etc
19:00 : Buffet dinner
19:30 : Depart back to KK
20:10 : Estimated arrive to KK
Since it is a one day activity, no accommodation is provided in this package.

You can fly to Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI) direct from Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Labuan, Sandakan or Tawau.
Arrival by land
You can travel to Kota Kinabalu by Taxi from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (approx. 14 minutes) and by Bus from Sandakan (approx. 6 hours), from Tawau (approx. 8 hours).
In lieu of the Covid-19 pandemic, you can opt to postpone your trip once it is safe to travel again. Kindly contact the property owner for more information.
