Kota Kinabalu is a city situated strategically in the West Coast of the Malaysian state of Sabah. It is a charming modern city offering you various attractions ranging from islands and beaches, museums and art galleries, cultural villages, local markets, and notable landmarks.
Tenom
Tenom is located in the south of Kota Kinabalu and is widely known for the aromatic Tenom Coffee and the adventurous white water rafting at Padas River. It is also the unofficial capital and hometown of the Murut community, where visitors are able to join the annual celebration of their Kalimaran festival. Tenom is also the final stop of the Sabah State Railway train, with their starting point at Tanjung Aru.

Arrival by land
You can travel to Kota Kinabalu by Taxi from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (approx. 14 minutes) and by Bus from Sandakan (approx. 6 hours), from Tawau (approx. 8 hours).
