Kota Kinabalu is a city situated strategically in the West Coast of the Malaysian state of Sabah. It is a charming modern city offering you various attractions ranging from islands and beaches, museums and art galleries, cultural villages, local markets, and notable landmarks.
Ranau
Ranau is located in the West Coast of the Malaysian state of Sabah and makes up a majority of the Dusun community. Ranau is famous for it’s highland vegetables and aromatic local tea brand unlike any other.
Itinerary
Day 1
Meet on arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport and transfer to your hotel.
Afternoon free at leisure to discover Kota Kinabalu City on your own arrangement.
Day 2
Depart to Kundasang at 7.15am.
Enjoy scenic view of the quaint countryside, the majestic Mount Kinabalu, dreamy valleys and colorful roadside farmer markets as you drive along the Crocker Range.
Short stop at Nabalu Market for photo opportunity and to explore the local marketplace.
Proceed to Kinabalu National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Explore the Botanical Garden for a chance to see the collection of rare plants and flowers.
Proceed to Poring Hot Springs.
Trek through the rainforest trail to the canopy walkway.
If time permits, dip in the open air Hot Springs tub. Its therapeutic properties are reputed to ease aching muscles.
Return to Kota Kinabalu.
Day 3
Transfer to the jetty at 9.00am.
Departure to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park islands via boat.
Swim and snorkel in the crystal blue sea or just relax on the sandy beach.
Enjoy your pack lunch picnic style at your favourite spot (beach mat provided), before to your next tropical island for more fun in the sun.
Departure at 3.30pm to the mainland via boat.
Return to hotel.
Day 4
Free day to explore the city (shopping and enjoy local fares).
Transfer to the airport for your flight departure.

You can fly to Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI) direct from Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Labuan, Sandakan or Tawau.
Arrival by land
You can travel to Kota Kinabalu by Taxi from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (approx. 14 minutes) and by Bus from Sandakan (approx. 6 hours), from Tawau (approx. 8 hours).
